About the Institute for Pro-Life Thought
We are contemplating God as the Giver and Lover of Human Life.
Seeking the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, who through the incarnation of the Son of God, has given the Saviour to humankind, we want to emphasise the great dignity of every single human life, which is always a miracle, regardless of when it begins and under what circumstances. We recognize that the more fragile and vulnerable a person is, the more they need others to acknowledge their inalienable dignity as a gift bestowed by God. Those who disregard that gift not only miss valuable opportunities but also jeopardize the salvation of their souls—and we, motivated by love for souls, desire their redemption.
We recognise the immense value of marriage as the place where new life is conceived and born.
We believe that a natural family structure, based on the stable and enduring marital union of a man and a woman (which is protected by the Polish Constitution), is the most suitable environment for welcoming children and fostering their optimal physical, psychological, and spiritual growth. We cherish the vision that Polish families should be open to God’s plan for the fertility of individual married couples. We recognize that the true fight for natality begins first and foremost in the minds and hearts of both women and men. In this regard, we aspire to promote the value of life and the growth of love within Polish families.
We represent a variety of academic disciplines.
Although our jobs and professions differ, we believe that promoting the dignity of human life, and the responsibility for it, concerns not only doctors, pharmacists, and biologists but also representatives of many other fields and disciplines within the sciences, as well as the arts, and in fact every person of goodwill who recognizes the miraculous gift of life. In our collective efforts, we see the potential for more fruitful outcomes.
We recognize that the fight for the dignity of human life is the ultimate struggle for Christian civilization in Poland and around the world.
We uphold the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church, which clearly and precisely identify the source of moral values and the dignity of the human being, presenting a set of universal norms that bind the conscience of an individual.
